All 35 models for this sector have been carefully designed for optimum build quality, reliability and versatility, making them highly effective for this increasingly important and growing industry.

The high capacity 560-80 Wastemaster is a heavy duty machine engineered for arduous waste management applications, which has a 6 tonne maximum lift capacity. It has been designed as a telehandler with wheeled loader performance and can lift to a maximum height of 8.1m (26’2”). Its two-stage boom carries a heavy-duty implement carriage, with a broader boom nose. The boom is equipped with a Z-bar linkage, similar to a wheeled loader, delivering robust digging ability and breakout forces as high as 6,800kgf (15,000lbf) when used with a bucket. In addition, it features extra cab and underside protection, reversing cooling fan and added guards.

As well as working at height, the telehandler offers a 1,750kg load capacity at full forward reach, particularly useful when loading across trucks. The 560-80 has seat-mounted servo controls for maximum comfort and ease of use, as well as regenerative hydraulics that recoup energy when the boom is lowered or retracted.

All cylinders are equipped with end damping, to prevent shock loads as the hydraulic rams are extended or retracted. There is also an auxiliary circuit venting control, which allows the operator to release pressure in the auxiliary lines, making it easier to rapidly swap between buckets and other specialist attachments.

JCB recognised the need for dedicated waste machines many years ago. Today the focus is on providing solutions for rehandling materials in every type of recycling business, whether it’s metals, organics, plastics or ELV. JCB’s proven track record as one of the most trusted construction brands in the world gives it the pedigree and expertise needed to provide the most innovative and effective machines for the waste management sector.
