JCB Agriculture is launching an unprecedented number of new and improved products at the Agritechnica show (Hanover, November 10-16) to help farmers, growers, producers and contractors in the livestock, arable cropping and commercial horticulture sectors become more productive.
New machines at the event include the Fastrac 4000 series tractors with uprated drivetrain components, increased front-end load capacity and new high-tech tyre options, and Fastrac 8000 series tractors with self-levelling front as well as rear suspension for the first time, increased operating weight, and new high-tech tyre options.
For EU markets, both Fastrac series also get engines to meet unique Stage V emissions rules.
Zero emissions electric drive comes to the JCB agricultural range with the introduction of two new Teletruk hard-surface forklifts designed to operate indoors and outdoors at on-farm vegetable crop handling facilities and further along the food supply chain.
A new addition to the World No1 JCB Loadall telescopic handler range – the Loadall 532-60 AGRI – provides livestock farmers in particular with a compact and highly manoeuvrable machine with the features and new Command Plus cab of other models in the new Series III line-up being shown at Agritechnica for the first time.
For larger scale materials handling operations, JCB’s 419S and 435S top-end agricultural wheeled loaders have been given more power and torque but also added fuel economy potential thanks to the new Dynamic power management and auto idle engine stop features.
There are similar upgrades for the bulk handling 427 AGRI and 437 AGRI, and a new powertrain for the highest productivity model, the 457 AGRI.
In addition, JCB’s 407 and 409 compact rigid arm wheeled loaders and TM180 and TM220 telescopic boom wheeled loaders have more fuel-efficient powertrain upgrades and the ultra-compact 403 Agri also gains more fuel-sipping potential from a new engine.
In short, the JCB stand at Agritechnica offers a host of new products, new features and new opportunities to work hard but work comfortably, and work with greater productivity but using less fuel.
