Joining the JCB TM range is the TM280S – an all-new agriculture telescopic wheel loader that combines comfort and power in equal measure. Ideal for working on smaller farms and in tighter spaces, this JCB telescopic wheel loader delivers the same consistent performance as our market-leading telescopic wheel loader range – only in a more compact package.

In an exciting development for JCB, the TM280S has DualTech VT transmission – the first JCB machine outside of our JCB Agriculture Loadall range to have DualTech incorporated. The world’s first and only 2-in-1 variable transmission, including hydrostatic and mechanical direct drive, which allows you to seamlessly transition between transmissions, reaching speeds of 40kph.

Precise speed control from 0-25kph with instant response and infinite adjustment for detailed work.
Mechanical direct drive
At 25kph, the DualTech VT automatically switches to mechanical drive, delivering smooth gear changes up to 40kph.
Performance Settings
- Hare Mode: Access full engine capacity for maximum productivity up to 40kph.
- Snail Mode: Control ground and engine speeds independently.
- Tortoise mode: Access full engine capacity up to 20kph.
