We’re interested in any technology that may improve our products but the JCB Innovation Pillars outline our key areas of interest. These pillars guide us in integrating cutting-edge technologies into our products, ensuring that we continue to lead the industry with innovative solutions.
Connected Machines
Leveraging real-time telematics for optimal performance and uptime has become a necessity for our customers and future products.
JCB set the industry standard for connected machines with the launch of LiveLink in 2008. This system has continuously evolved, utilising telematics for real-time performance monitoring, diagnosing issues and geofencing. These advancements enhance efficiency, safety, reduce downtime, and improve overall productivity for our customers. However, we are always looking for a better way to further interconnect our machines.
Sustainable Powertrain
On our Road to Zero emissions, we are continuously seeking innovative and sustainable powertrain solutions.
We have already spearheaded this initiative with the creation of our hydrogen internal combustion engines and the electrification of our smaller products. However, we must continue to lead the way and pioneer more sustainable powertrain solutions. These innovations will help reduce our carbon emissions, emphasising our commitment to environmental responsibility and advancing technology in our industry.
Operator Assistance and Automation
Enhancing operator assistance and automation is a key focus for JCB, aligning with a significant global trend beyond just our industry.
At JCB, improving safety has always been one of our main priorities. We recognize the potential of integrating innovative technologies into our machines to enhance safety, efficiency, and productivity. By leveraging advanced automation and assistance systems, we aim to set new industry standards in supporting operators to work more effectively and safely, with greater ease of use.
