- We have a professional Occupational Health team who place an emphasis on preventative healthcare.
- The team conducts initiatives to improve the health and wellbeing of our employees, such as:
- No smoking policies in offices, and designated smoking areas in the factory grounds
- Restaurant and catering facilities which provide a variety of general and healthy eating options
- The company’s Healthy Living Centre at Rocester with its range of fitness equipment and programmes to improve health, wellbeing, fitness and stamina
- Healthy lifestyle programmes
- Regular health screening programmes
- JCB also operates a group private medical insurance scheme that provides treatment at reduced subscription rates.
- Our popular cycle to work scheme encourages improved health and fitness and offers benefits that include up to 42% off the cost of a new bike.
Training and Remuneration Development
We believe it's important to make sure that opportunities for personal challenge, development and, where possible, career progression allow JCB people to realise their full potential. So we provide access to learning, guidance and assistance to ensure employees are encouraged to increase their knowledge, skills and experience. This can include internal training programmes, mentoring and coaching, and external training. We also offer full support for professional development, including IMechE, IET, SIP and CIPD.
Remuneration packages are negotiated on an individual basis and include excellent salaries, a company pension scheme and 33 days holiday per year, increasing with service to 38 days.
