STAFFORDSHIRE ARMY CADET FORCE SALUTES £1,000 JCB DONATION

Uttoxeter ACF group Donation News

Young members of the Army Cadet Force across Staffordshire will no longer be packing up their troubles in old kit bags - thanks to a donation from digger giant JCB.

The cadets, who are aged between 12 and 18, are encouraged to attend monthly camps to develop fieldcraft and expedition skills, and rucksacks and waterproofs are essentials for the trips.
Our cadets learn so many skills on training camps and high-quality kit is important. We never want any young person to miss out on this experience because of financial barriers so there is a never-ending effort to raise funds for equipment and financial support. We thank JCB for this much needed and generous donation.

JCB Hospitality Supervisor Joanne Plant presented the £1,000 donation to the Cadets. She added: “I am delighted that JCB is supporting C Company and particularly the Uttoxeter detachment.  It is very close to my heart as my son spent many happy years there before deciding to make the Army his career.”
